The extendable bag workshop will be presented by Linda Zuelch, currently a member of Nature Coast, and formerly a neighborhood group sister of Bev Hilton’s when they lived in Pembroke Pines.
This is a totally different idea. It's a fairy-tail sort of story about a bag that folds up small and just keep growing and growing. I'm thinking this wonderful bag may be new to some. It's certainly new to me. It's different from the usual totes and bags in that it looks like a small package but packs a wallop of storage space. I've heard rave reviews about this extendable bag. You will enjoy seeing it come together. Come join us and see for yourself.
This amazing bag is easy to make and fun too. You will be especially surprised by the size of this bag because when you unfold it, it reveals an unbelievable amount of space.

Jackie Metz, one of our most knowledgeable garment-sewing members, has agreed to present her ever-popular workshop on jacket fitting. She presented it in the south last year; this time her presentation will be in the northern part of the chapter.
We have heard great reviews about her presentation. She’ll do things a little differently from her previous workshop. This time Jackie will give an informative lecture / demonstration, but those interested in actually doing the jacket fitting will come to her home on a one-on-one basis. There she’ll work with you to get perfect measuring and fitting with individual attention. This way, she will have enough time for each of you.
Nothing looks better than a well-fitted jacket. Jackie puts on a great program. Come to this lec/demo and support her. We look forward to your participation.
To Dye or Over-Dye . . .
That is the question
And, coming this fall we’ll have an exciting fabric dyeing workshop, presented by none other than our own Sue Ruda. This will be lots of fun and will give you a chance to make your own fabric design. Or, for many, it will give you the opportunity to pull some of those ancient, retro or out-of-date fabrics and put some new life into them. I know that you will love it! Start looking in your stash now. Fall is not far away. More later.
