Sew Exciting September Meeting Summary

The Sew Exciting Group of the Ocala Chapter of ASG met on the 4th Thursday of the month at Joy Lutheran Church.
The meeting was called to order with 22 members present. Officers gave their respective reports. Jackie, Historian, requested pictures for our album.
Members were reminded of the deadline to send in their checks for our Ocala Chapter Annual Meeting and Luncheon. Members were also reminded to send in their proxy ballots, found in the newsletter, to Murilla if they were not going to attend the luncheon. The meeting this year will take place in Williston at the Women’s Club.
Ginny reported on the great turn out at the Hobby Lobby Craft Store on September 10th. In addition to sharing information about ASG we were able to sell more raffle tickets for our beautiful Tropical Birds Quilt.
Upcoming events include Ginny’s quillow class. Supply list was given out at the meeting. Sign up sheet was sent around for Murilla’s locker hooking class to be held on October 29th at the Collins Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Upcoming events include a Shop Hop, a Swap Meet, the February Sewing Expo, Pam Legget’s pants class. Watch for more information in the October reminder and next month’s meeting.
