Fourteen ladies eager to learn this quilting technique arrived at class with all their sewing supplies. We started class with an over view of the quilt style with Kathy showing a few of her finished quilts. Now that they had a visual of the finished product they were ready to go.

We started by cutting our strips then sewing them together. Before lunch everyone had progressed to about half way.

After lunch the ‘hard part’ began! Cutting the tubes into strips, okay that was easy! Then they began to cut the strips apart and lay out the top of the quilt. That is a little confusing but they all got it! Now they were ready to sew them together to get the top finished before class was over.

Here is the group with their finished tops! WOW! Each one looks great!
